It's Friday

thank goodness it's Friday - I'm off to see one of my fav bands tonight "counting crows" it has been cancelled twice before so it has taken the edge of the excitement slightly! I am going to London tomorrow and then have the whole of next week off - so expect some postings. I am also studying for an MBA and so part of the week (as with the rest of my life) will have to be given over to writing an assignment as the MBA never stops, no hols allowed, you just make up the time if you take one.

anyway, thought I would share something I had added to my craft room wall. A great way to enjoy your paper stash and not give it away! I also love the little doll in the kimono. I didn't buy the stamps but instead bought sheets of the images of the dolls as I think by the time I have used those I will have had my fun with them. I have also sent this into one of the card mags for the letter page - so you may see it in print.

challenge is pink, lemon and chocolate

Here is the card I have created for this weeks challenge based on pink, lemon and chocolate and shabby chic. I have used a K&Co card and then used CDees stamps on lemon card. I have added a bit of bling for an earring and a cocktail ring!
I decided to add some pink net ribbon from my box. Whilst in looking in the box I found something I had looked for in there the other day and just could not find. It was the label that came with one of my Radley hanbags, I need to do a repair on my dog tag as he got pulled off in the overcrowded tube last week - but at least I didn't lose him. The label comes with a handy little bit of leather, which I was saving for a craft project one day but now I can reunite my dog with the bag!

First attempt

Well this is my first foray into Blogland as a blogger! I had been thinking about it for sometime and then when I found the colour create challenge - well the only way to enter is to use a blog.

So here is my entry for the sky blue, tan and ecru. The papers and embelishments are from Heidi Grace and the tag is K&Co. It's a scrapbook page of a day we had at Crich Tramway museum last year.
