LIM #330 - Shimmer

I decided to mix it up a little with these cards. On the first card the background shapes are from a Craft Artist cdrom - Bloke which I arranged and then placed a shadow onto them. Once printed I cut out and then used a clear wink of Stella over the top of some of them, then I added die cuts from Sheena Douglass. The sentiment is from Uniko. The card stock is a pearlescent and has a shimmer as does the wink of Stella, so I am entering into the Less is More challenge which this week is for "shimmer". I'm also entering this card into the #41 Masculine challenge at Uniko.

I decided then to do a girlie version of the background, this time using CC Frou Frou cdrom. The wording is a sticker and I cut out using a Grummiapan die.

Simply CAS-tastic, shimmering elegance Linby. Love both of these examples and that first one is just fabulous for those guys. Why not link it up over at Uniko too. Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More this week.

Wow! Love that shadow effect, really makes the strips seem to pop off the card. Thanks for linking up with Uniko's masculine challenge.

Fabulous work with your digis, and who would have thought shimmer would work for a masculine card?! It looks fantastic.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x

A great digital background idea - presumably it is printed onto a rectangle before adding to the card?

Loving the wonky stripes on the background, the die cut cogs are so fun and lovely to see an old Uniko sentiment in there too. Thanks so much for joining in on the Uniko Challenge. Hugs Bev x
